In Downtown Los Angeles, a shocking incident occurred when a mob of bicyclists attacked a man in broad daylight.

The terrifying assault was captured on video and showcases the victim being knocked to the ground and viciously kicked and stomped on by a group of young men.

The incident took place near Hill and 6th Street in the Jewelry District.

The distressing footage reveals a scene of violence and chaos, with one of the assailants even shattering the windshield of a nearby pickup truck.

Witnesses recount the horrifying encounter, including Gary, a jeweler who was working on the 13th floor of an office building nearby.

Gary heard the commotion and witnessed a group of approximately six or seven young men on bikes attacking the driver of the truck on the sidewalk.

Following the attack, the bicyclists took a break to loot the jewelry stores in the area before fleeing on their bikes, obstructing traffic in the process.

The motive behind the violence remains unclear, with conflicting reports from witnesses.

One jeweler claims that the bicyclists were recklessly swerving through traffic, provoking the driver, while another suggests that the driver had antagonized them after being cut off.

The incident was reported to the police, with a call received around 3:55 PM on Thursday.

Law enforcement was informed that ten Hispanic males on bikes, aged between 15 and 18, were assaulting a white male inside a pickup truck.

However, by the time the police arrived, all parties involved had already left the scene.

The shocking attack has raised concerns about public safety and the brazenness of such acts of violence.

Authorities are investigating the incident and working to identify the individuals involved.

Meanwhile, the victim of the assault managed to escape the attackers and seek safety.

As the investigation continues, the incident serves as a reminder of the need for increased vigilance and security measures to ensure the safety of residents and visitors in Downtown Los Angeles.
