Lauderdale County deputies are seeking assistance in locating Mary Anne and Christopher Moore, a mother and son who have gone missing. Investigators are concerned for Mary Anne’s safety as Christopher has a history of violence and mental instability.
The lead investigator, Dylan Hog, stated that numerous red flags have been identified during their investigation. While it is unclear whether this is a kidnapping, they are exploring all possibilities, including Mary Anne willingly following her son or him forcefully taking her. Christopher’s criminal record, which includes multiple charges and a history of violence, adds to the concern. The deputies believe that Mary Anne is in danger due to her association with her son.
The pair borrowed a car on November 3rd and withdrew a significant amount of money from a bank before disappearing. It is unusual for Christopher to be accompanying Mary Anne during such transactions. The Moors were last seen in the vicinity of County Road 462 in Lexington.
