Transitional Improvements: Helping Homeless & Formerly Incarcerated Grocery Store Shooting; 1 Injured, 1 in Custody

Lauderdale County deputies in Savannah are seeking assistance from the public in locating two missing individuals, Mary Anne and Christopher Moore, a mother and son. Authorities have expressed concerns for Mary Anne’s safety due to Christopher’s violent past and mental instability.

WFF 48’s Aria Pond spoke with lead investigator Dylan Hog at the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office regarding this case. Investigator Hog stated that several red flags have appeared during their investigation and they are uncertain about Mary Anne’s safety with her son. While they have not classified it as a kidnapping yet, they are actively looking into the situation. Christopher Moore has a lengthy criminal record and is currently on probation, causing further concern.

The recent disappearance of the pair has raised suspicions due to Christopher’s history of violence and involvement in drug-related activities. Deputies revealed that Mary Anne and Christopher borrowed a car and withdrew a significant amount of money from the bank on November 3rd, which is unusual behavior.

A family friend reported them missing when they were unable to locate.
