Beach where a woman is fighting for her life after being struck by a hit-and-run driver who crashed into an apartment building in Santa Ana on May 1.
The victim, Leone Bufkin, was sitting on a couch in the apartment at the time of the crash and was pinned under the vehicle.
Her girlfriend, who was also in the apartment, was injured but not as severely.
Bufkin has undergone multiple surgeries and faces many more as she remains at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange.
The driver of the Toyota minivan fled the scene on foot and is still at large.
The next court date for the suspect, Dominguez, who was denied bail, is May 22nd.
