Michigan to Experience Light Snowfall Overnight
Michigan residents will wake up to a cold but pleasant winter day on Saturday, with sunshine and a gentle wind greeting them.
According to the Storm Team 8 forecast at 5 a.m.
on March 11, 2023, temperatures are starting off on a cold note, but they will warm up to the mid-30s by the afternoon.
Wind speeds are light, making it perfect for those who plan to attend a parade or run early in the morning.
Although there will be mostly cloudy skies throughout the day, a few changes are expected in the afternoon.
A few clouds will decorate the sky, thickening up for the afternoon to evening.
While most of the snow will miss Michigan, a wave of snow is expected to hit overnight, bringing an inch or so of accumulation.
Residents can track the snow’s progress using the Storm Team 8 weather app, and it should start to drop by 10 p.m.
with some areas briefly seeing two inches of snow.
However, as it is still March, the direct sun angle can cause the snow to pack quickly.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise into the mid-30s, providing a brief respite before another sweep of rain and snow on Sunday night into Monday.
Overall, the weekend is looking easy to take, with small chances of sunshine and mostly dry weather.
