The Martin County School Board has announced Michael May as the new superintendent of Martin County School District.
May, the current deputy superintendent, will transition to the superintendent role following the retirement of Dr.
John Millay.
May has been working with the school district since 2021 as the executive director of principals and professional standards.
Dr.
Millay’s last day with the Martin County School District was last month.
No information was provided regarding the terms of May’s appointment, but it is known that he will take on the new role soon.
