Meteorologist Matt Hoenig recently paid a visit to Salem High School in New Hampshire to speak to the Earth and Space Science class.
During his visit, Hoenig expressed his gratitude to the ninth graders for their warm welcome and shared his enthusiasm for teaching about weather and climate.
He mentioned that it was particularly special to teach in front of his family, as his two cousins, Danny and Ryan, were present in the class.
Hoenig expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to share his passion for meteorology with students and highlighted the importance of doing what you love in your profession.
Although he did not receive a handmade thank-you card from the ninth graders, he praised their engagement and expressed his gratitude for the chance to visit various schools across New Hampshire, especially those that involve his family.
