Scooter, a lovable dog looking for a new home, has been featured as 10 News’ Pet of the Week.
The Roanoke Valley SPCA’s Marketing and Communications Director, Julie Rickman, brought the energetic and friendly Scooter to the show.
He is around three years old and has been with the SPCA for a couple of weeks.
Scooter needs some grooming, as he arrived with severe matting on his back, bottom, and neck.
The SPCA has already taken care of some of it, but he still needs a bath.
Despite his appearance, Scooter has a big personality and loves people and food, in that order.
He’s active, loves playing with toys and going on hikes, but can also be snuggly.
He weighs 42 pounds and can be great with families, including those with kids.
