The Metro Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) will be opening up its waitlist for affordable housing for elderly individuals or those with disabilities.

The waitlist will be for two properties – Garner studio apartments on Edgehill Avenue and Hadley Park Towers on John A Merritt Boulevard.

The application process for Garner studio apartments will start at noon on Wednesday and be open until April 12th.

The application process for Hadley Park Towers will start on Friday at noon and be open until April 14th.

Interested applicants will need to fill out separate applications for each property and will need an email address and proof of disability.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is advised to apply early.

With the median rent in Nashville at $2,200 a month, many people in the area are eagerly waiting for this opportunity.
