The event, organized by Graciela Macias and hosted by East Moline Main Street, featured over 60 vendors catering to an estimated crowd of 3,000 guests.

The festival, which showcased a wide array of tacos, mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, and lively dancing, proved to be an overwhelming success.

Graciela Macias, the event organizer, expressed her astonishment at the higher-than-expected turnout, confessing she was left speechless.

“It’s incredible to witness such immense support from the community.

This event goes beyond just a festival; it’s about fostering opportunities, acceptance, and empowerment.

When we come together, amazing things happen,” Macias remarked, emphasizing the significance of the event.

Commencing at 11:00 AM this morning, the festival offered free admission to all attendees.

The festivities are set to continue until 6:00 PM this evening, allowing visitors ample time to indulge in the flavorsome offerings and partake in the festive atmosphere.

The Taco & Margarita Festival served as a vibrant platform for local businesses, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their culinary delights and engage with the community.
