Multiple agencies are working to extinguish the fire that has affected several buildings on East Main Street, across from the post office. The road between the railroad tracks and Diagonal Street is currently closed and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Just a few miles up the road, around three or four miles, you will reach the community of Deckard. The affected road closures are on East Main Street, stretching from the downtown area near the railroad tracks to 2nd and 3rd Streets, close to Diagonal Street.

To navigate around this area, you can use alternate routes such as East Market Street towards Mill Street. On the southwest side, near East Main and Tennessee Highway 20, you can take US Highway 64 or US Highway 41A to reach Winchester. These options will likely be more efficient for your commute.
