Starting tomorrow, March 20th, the mandatory mask mandate on public transportation, which was excluded from the indoor mask mandate adjustment in January, will be lifted, making mask-wearing voluntary.

This marks the first time in two years and five months since the central government’s mandatory mask mandate was introduced in October 2020.

This means that mask-wearing on buses, subways, taxis, and even airplanes will now be voluntary.

Additionally, the mask mandate in open pharmacies located in large facilities such as supermarkets and train stations will also be lifted.

However, general pharmacies may still require customers to wear masks as many people visit these establishments after using medical facilities.
