On Friday, March 10th, police in Kailua-Kona on Hawaiʻi Island were investigating an officer-involved shooting that left one man dead.
The suspect had reached for an object and multiple firearms were later found in his car.
Now, a door-to-door search is underway for another man, Ronald Coloma, who is considered armed and dangerous and is a suspect in another shooting earlier in the week.
Police have been searching the area near Polani Roads and Queen Kaahumanu Highway, and residents are being asked to avoid the area if possible and to call the police if they see Coloma.
The search for Coloma continues at this hour.
A news conference is planned for 7:00 PM tonight.
