Former President Donald Trump claims that he will be arrested on Tuesday, citing leaks from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
However, a spokesperson for Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office declined to comment on the matter.
Trump’s Super PAC has also slammed Alvin Bragg.
This comes after a week of developments in the Manhattan DA’s investigation into Trump’s role in the hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer, has testified for a second day in front of the grand jury, and other key Trump White House figures like Kellyanne Conway and Hope Hicks have also recently met with prosecutors in Manhattan.
Local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies have started preparing security measures in New York in case charges are filed against Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign has confirmed that he will hold his first official rally next Saturday in Waco, Texas.
