Manhattan District Attorney’s Office is nearing a decision on whether to charge former US President Donald Trump with a crime, which would make him the first former president ever to be indicted.

The charges stem from the adult film star Stormy Daniels’ case.

Daniels met with prosecutors on the matter yesterday, while Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, testified twice before the grand jury this week.

Cohen also spoke to ABC’s Good Morning America today about the allegations of him paying hush money to Daniels at Trump’s request.

Cohen hopes to see Trump indicted, saying democracy is on the line because of him.

The Manhattan District Attorney is considering filing a criminal indictment against Trump over that payment.

However, it’s not clear if Daniels will be called to testify, but she said she is in a fight for truth and justice.

If this goes to trial, Cohen would be a star witness for the prosecution.

Meanwhile, Trump’s attorney claims that he paid off the porn star to protect his family, and Trump has made it clear that he is not dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, even if he is indicted.
