Man Shot in Hand During Robbery, Two Suspects in Custody: Jacksonville Police

A man was shot in the hand during a robbery in Jacksonville, Florida, according to a statement from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred in the 1600 block of College Circle East at around 8:30 a.m.

on an unspecified day.

The victim, an adult male, sustained a single gunshot wound to the hand and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to initial investigations, the victim met with a female suspect inside a residence.

Another female suspect appeared in front of the victim with a firearm and took items from him.

During the struggle, the victim was shot.

He was able to flee the scene and contact the police in the area of 1900 Kings Road.

Both suspects have been identified and are in police custody.

Robbery and violent crime detectives are currently on the scene, conducting an ongoing investigation.

The suspects, who are adults between 20 and 30 years old, are being interviewed by police.

The police have not yet made any actual arrests.

The suspects were apprehended in the neighborhood near the scene, and the victim was able to identify them to police.

The police are still trying to determine the relationship between the victim and the suspects and the reason for their meeting at the residence.

There was no other property damage, and nobody was struck other than the victim.
