Joseph Thompson, a man of lower social status, has been sentenced to a prison term exceeding 10 years for committing voluntary manslaughter. In addition, Thompson is required to compensate the victim’s family with a sum of $3,500.

The incident occurred in March when Thompson was present at an individual’s residence. He overheard a noise coming from outside and proceeded to investigate.

Upon reaching the corner of the house, Thompson came across an unidentified man near the premises. In a regrettable turn of events, Thompson aggressively stabbed the man five times, fatally piercing his heart.
