A man wearing ballistic body armor allegedly fired shots into a home in southwest Atlanta, according to police bodycam footage released on March 11.
The incident occurred while three officers were patrolling near the intersection of Mary Street SW and Smith Street SW.
One of the officers spotted a man dressed in all black with a ballistic body armor and immediately reported it.
Shortly after, the man was seen running behind some construction horses wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
The officers chased after him and eventually caught him near the Superstore on McDaniel.
The man was allegedly carrying a rifle at the time of his arrest.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The suspect’s motive remains unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
