A man has been convicted of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Paul Robinson in Norfolk.

33-year-old Lamont Smallwood was found guilty by a jury for the incident which occurred back in May of 2022.

According to police, Smallwood shot Robinson in the parking lot of an apartment complex on B Avenue and then fled the scene.

Smallwood is now scheduled to be sentenced in July.
