A man has died following a shooting on the near northeast side of Indianapolis.
Metro Police were called to an apartment complex on Beckwith Drive, close to East 25th Street and Hillside Avenue, shortly after 1 p.m.
on Thursday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person who had been shot and was critically injured.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, but sadly died as a result of their injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation and police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-tips.
The shooting occurred in the Martindale Brightwood neighborhood.
