A man died in a car crash early this morning in the town of Geddes.
The crash occurred on the westbound 690 off-ramp to John Glenn Boulevard at around 4:30 a.m.
The 36-year-old man went off the road and hit a culvert, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the accident.
The driver’s name has not been released yet.
The ramps from I-690 to John Glenn Boulevard will be closed until further notice.
In other news, a 20-year-old Jamesville man accused of threatening a racist mass shooting at Tops in Manlius is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow for a bail review.
The Onondaga County District Attorney has concerns about the accused being out of jail, and will be requesting a GPS tracking bracelet for him.
Additionally, Lisa Waldron, a mother from Oswego County charged with murder after neglecting her teenage son with special needs, leading to his death, will face trial on July 31st.
Her stepfather, Anthony Waldron, also faces murder charges and will be tried next month.

There is lake snow north of Syracuse, with another 3 to 6 inches of snow possible in that area.
Temperatures will struggle to reach the low 30s, but it will be much nicer on Monday with highs near 50 to start spring.
The weather will be mainly dry and mild through midweek, turning rainy on Thursday but staying mild.
The weekend may be cooler and damp, with highs near 50 on Friday and back into the 40s on Saturday.
