DeKalb County Police are searching for a man accused of animal cruelty after he was caught on video attacking a dog.
The incident appears to have happened at an apartment complex on Flat Shoals Road, with animal advocates calling it a clear case of cruelty.
The disturbing video, which was obtained by Fox 5, shows the man chasing and hitting the dog before picking it up by the head and throwing it against a wall.
The video has since gone viral online and caught the attention of investigators.
Despite police releasing pictures of the suspect, nobody has been arrested or charged yet.
Animal advocates are calling for action, stating that injuring an animal with intent and malice is a crime under Georgia’s animal cruelty law.
