Phoenix police have cited a man after a viral TikTok video captured him physically assaulting and verbally abusing a female construction worker.

The incident took place at a construction site in north Phoenix, and the man responsible has been identified as 46-year-old Brent Hospelhorn.

According to reports, the altercation occurred when Hospelhorn accused the worker of scratching a countertop at a condo complex under construction.

In the video, Hospelhorn can be seen shouting profanities and hitting the worker.

The victim, Guadalupe Solano, a wife and mother of three with seven years of experience as an electrician, was left shocked by the incident.

Solano immediately called the Phoenix police, who took two hours to respond to the scene.

After speaking with Hospelhorn, the police cited him for misdemeanor assault but did not book him into jail.

The condo complex owners terminated Hospelhorn’s contract the following day, expressing their disapproval of his behavior.

The incident has drawn attention to the mistreatment of the Latino community, with activist Carlos Eduardo Spina emphasizing the need for people to speak out against such attacks.

Solano, feeling powerless and hoping for respect and dignity, has decided not to return to the job site.

Phoenix police are recommending charges against Hospelhorn for his actions.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of documenting such incidents and sharing them on social media to raise awareness and encourage others to speak out against similar injustices.
