A 54-year-old woman was hit by a car in Milwaukee while crossing the street, resulting in life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 21-year-old man, was arrested by police at the scene of the accident which occurred near 87th and Hampton.
Evidence markers were placed near shoes and a purse several feet apart, and video footage from News Chopper 12 shows the car off the road and into a nearby yard.
The woman remains in critical condition, and the man is expected to face criminal charges.
