Children’s Hospital in Macon, Georgia has opened a new musical playground for its patients, thanks to a partnership between Panda Express’s Panda Care Center of Hope and the Children’s Miracle Network.
The aim is to provide a space where children can take a break from the rigours of hospital treatment.
The park was inspired by the experiences of six-year-old Kison, who was diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2019.
Kison’s mother says the hospital staff became like family to them, and they wanted to give back.
Panda Express hopes to raise over $441,000 to improve the playground and help other young patients.
