A Louisville woman has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for causing a deadly crash while driving under the influence.
Faith Turner crashed into an SUV on I-64 near the Third Street exit in June of 2021, killing Alan and Rochelle Hinkle and leaving their five-year-old and seven-month-old children injured.
The judge acknowledged Turner’s expression of remorse and taking responsibility, but it did not change the outcome of the crash.
Turner accepted a plea deal for manslaughter and was sentenced to 32 years in prison.
The tragic incident has left the Hinkle children without parents and their family members mourning their loss.
