Louisville leaders are urging peace and community solutions after a deadly weekend of shootings.
Mayor Craig Greenberg spoke out against gun violence, saying that every act of gun violence is tragic and unacceptable, regardless of the circumstances.
On Saturday night, two people were killed and four others were injured in a shooting at Chickasaw Park.
The following day, leaders gathered at the same spot to call for an end to the violence.
Police have not yet found any witnesses to the shooting, and leaders are urging anyone with information to come forward.
They are also calling for long-term solutions, such as stricter gun laws and more youth outreach programs.
In the meantime, they are urging everyone to choose peace.
