Lori Vallow Convicted of Murdering Her Kids, Husband’s Ex-Wife
Idaho mother Lori Vallow Daybell was convicted Friday in the murders of her two youngest children and a romantic rival, a verdict that culminates a three-year investigation that included bizarre claims that her son and daughter were zombies and she was a goddess sent to usher in the Biblical apocalypse.
The preliminary hearing took place where the defense was expected to challenge the evidence against her.
In regards to the counts, one of the amended indictments charged Laurie Noreen Bowel with either being not guilty or guilty of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder of Kylie Brian and grand theft by deception.
She answered guilty.
Now, there is a jury in Idaho convicting Laurie Vallow of murder, bringing an end to a three-year-long saga.
Vallow killed her two youngest children and her husband’s first wife.
Surprisingly, she showed no emotion as the verdict came down today.
Vallow, also known as the “Doomsday Mom,” earned her nickname due to the revelation during the case that she had made bizarre claims about zombie children and apocalyptic prophecies.
The trial lasted for seven weeks, but the deliberation was swift.
Deliberations began yesterday, and the verdict was reached today.
The judge plans to sentence her within three months, and she now faces life in prison.
Her husband, Chad [last name missing], is set to have his own trial soon, where the defense is expected to challenge the evidence against him.
