Local Young Chef Using His Talents to Help the Less Fortunate

A young chef in the community is using his talents to make a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate.

Damien, also known as Chef Turtle D, is a junior chef competition winner who, with the help of his parents, has started a community home ministry aimed at helping those in need.

Both of Damien’s parents are ordained ministers, and they have always been committed to giving back to the community.

Damien’s passion for cooking started when he was just nine years old, and his mother suffered a stroke, and he had to blend her food.

He became so skilled in the kitchen that he caught the attention of the judges in the Texoma Junior Chef competition, which he won with his mung bean pancake and sesame chicken dish.

Today, Damien sells his sauces and foods at local pop-up shops and vendor shows, and all of his profits go towards buying items for the homeless.

His dream is to open a big building with his ministry on one side and his shop on the other, and with the continued support of the community, he believes that it can become a reality.

Damien’s inspiring story is a recipe for success and serves as a reminder that anyone can make a difference, regardless of their age or circumstances.
