Lawmakers convened once again today to continue negotiations on the pressing issue of the debt ceiling.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen confirmed earlier that the United States is approaching the “debt first” situation, adding urgency to the ongoing discussions taking place in Congress.
In an effort to find a viable solution, representatives from both sides of the aisle reconvened today to discuss and deliberate on the best course of action.
