Lake County Man Accused of Demanding Sex Acts from Massage Spa Employee
A man from Lake County, identified as Timothy Paul Taylor, has been arrested after allegedly demanding sex acts from an employee at a massage spa in Eustis, Florida.
According to police, Taylor walked into A1 Massage and held a gun to the victim’s head while demanding sex acts.
The victim refused and Taylor threatened to kill her if she called for help.
The incident was reported as a possible armed robbery just before 10:40 AM on Thursday.
Thankfully, the victim was not physically hurt during the encounter.
Taylor escaped through the back door and drove off in a car, but was eventually caught by police with the help of his mother, who informed them that he had gone into the woods after leaving the car at his family’s home.
He was arrested at around 2:30 PM.
It has been revealed that Taylor has had over 25 arrests and nine felony convictions, and is a violent felon.
Police found a gun near the scene, but it was later discovered to be a BB gun, which looks similar to a real gun.
The victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous, fought off Taylor and was not injured, but has been left shaken by the incident.
Eustis Police Chief Craig Capri commended the victim for fighting back and not becoming a total victim, saying “she was a victim, but she didn’t become a total victim.” Taylor has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
