How about you? Glad to have you here. So what news do you have for me today? There’s a lot of exciting stuff happening this week. Well, this Thursday at the AMP in Saint Augustine, one of my favorite venues, Chris Young will be performing.
Are you familiar with him? Yeah, I’ve heard of him. He’s one of those artists where you’re constantly surprised by the songs he performs. That’s right! Every time he plays a song, you’ll be like, “Oh, I didn’t know he did this song!” It’s going to be a great show with all his hit songs. And for those who want to win tickets, we have some on our Instagram page at 99.1 Wqik. We love giving away tickets on Instagram, it’s super easy. Also, this weekend, I’ll be heading out to the Surfer Girls Pro, which I’ve heard is the largest women’s surfing festival.
I’m really excited to check it out and maybe even give surfing a try. That sounds fun! I hope you have a fantastic time out there. Is there anything else happening this weekend? Yes, there’s the Veteran’s Day parade on Saturday. It’s a great event that I haven’t attended since I lived in Jacksonville. And speaking of Thanksgiving, there are some interesting Thanksgiving-themed foods popping up, like Thanksgiving ice cream and pizza.
