SANTA FE, New Mexico — Two juveniles in Santa Fe have been charged with making hoax school shooting threats back in April.

The Santa Fe Police Department took action after receiving reports of an active shooter threat at multiple schools on April 21st.

Upon investigation, the police discovered that the threat was a fabricated story concocted by two juveniles.

Following the incident, law enforcement officers conducted interviews with several students, leading them to uncover the truth behind the false alarm.

The two juveniles responsible for creating the hoax were identified and subsequently charged.

Their identities have not been disclosed due to their age.

In an unrelated event, volunteers gathered at Sunset Memorial Park for a service day in the baby section ahead of Mother’s Day.

The initiative aimed to honor and remember lost infants while providing support to their grieving families.
