Good morning, this is Steve Steven Graves with your News to Go. We have new information regarding the electrocution incident of a father in Jupiter at the Harborside Place Fountain.
The town’s Building Department has discovered that the lights inside the fountain were emitting electrical voltage. As a result, the fountain will remain closed until it is repaired or possibly demolished. In Martin County, residents are urged to lock their doors due to multiple attempted burglaries. One incident involved a Hobe Sound woman and her child coming face to face with a suspect on Duncan Street last Friday.
Fortunately, the homeowner managed to safely remove the intruder from her house. These attempted burglaries have also occurred in Palm City.
If you notice anything suspicious, please contact the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. Today is Election Day in Indian River County. You can find your assigned precinct on vote.indianriver.gov.
Remember to bring a valid photo ID when you go to vote. If you don’t have one, you can still cast a provisional ballot. All completed vote-by-mail ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7:00 PM tonight, which is also when the polls close. Now, onto the weather. Today, we can expect daytime highs in the 80s, slightly higher than the average of 81 degrees.
By 10 AM, we should reach that point..
