Good morning, this is Steve Steven Graves with your News to Go. We have new information regarding the electrocution incident of a father in Jupiter at the Harborside Place Fountain.

The town’s Building Department has discovered that the lights inside the fountain were emitting electrical voltage. As a result, the fountain will remain closed until it is repaired or possibly demolished. In Martin County, residents are urged to lock their doors due to multiple attempted burglaries. One incident involved a Hobe Sound woman and her child coming face to face with a suspect on Duncan Street last Friday.

Fortunately, the homeowner managed to safely remove the intruder from her house. These attempted burglaries have also occurred in Palm City.

Remember to bring a valid photo ID when you go to vote. If you don’t have one, you can still cast a provisional ballot. All completed vote-by-mail ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7:00 PM tonight, which is also when the polls close. Now, onto the weather.
