A principal in the Jefferson County Public Schools system, Leroy Little Senior, has been arrested and charged with assault and terroristic threatening.
Little, who was on his first day of work at Olmstead Academy North, is accused of an incident that took place on Christmas Day.
The Bullock County Sheriff’s Department has not provided any additional details about the alleged incident.
In a letter to families, JCPS stated that it is following normal procedures for such allegations and that Assistant Principal Ebony Booker will take over leadership at the school while the case proceeds.
