Jacksonville to Experience Record-High Temperatures by Friday
Residents of Jacksonville, Florida, can expect a significant temperature increase in the coming days, according to meteorologist Lauren Rautenkranz.
Yesterday’s temperatures were a chilly 38 degrees, but today’s temperature will already start in the 60s, with highs expected to reach the 80s later in the day.
The warm-up will continue throughout the week, and temperatures are predicted to approach 90 degrees by Friday.
However, the warm temperatures will also bring some humidity, which has already led to low-level moisture and fog in some areas, particularly in St John’s Clay Bradford Alachua Putnam Flagler counties.
Beachgoers can expect sunny and dry conditions on Thursday and Friday, with the possibility of offshore showers in the morning and early afternoon.
The weekend forecast remains uncertain, with a front moving into the area that may bring some rain, particularly in the northern part of the city.
However, for now, residents can enjoy the warm and sunny weather, as the days grow longer until the summer solstice.
