In a heartwarming story, Jacksonville sheriff’s officer Marshall Smith became a hero after responding to a traffic call and rescuing a kitten from a wheel well.
The kitten had climbed into the vehicle’s wheel well and was in danger of being harmed if the car was moved.
After several unsuccessful attempts to remove the kitten, Officer Smith arrived and used water to gently force the kitten to safety.
The happy ending to this story is that the kitten was adopted on the spot.
This is definitely some Goodwill Good News that we all need to hear.
