Shifting focus to the ongoing war in Israel, today marks one month since Hamas initiated their deadly terrorist attacks on the country. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declares that Israel is now prepared for the next phase. Reporting live, Fox FES Ashley Rodriguez reveals that Israeli troops have surrounded Gaza cities, attracting global attention as they gear up for a potential invasion and occupation. New footage demonstrates the Israeli Defense Forces launching powerful airstrikes on the Gaza region, setting the stage for an imminent push into Gaza City and a potentially more violent stage of the month-long conflict.
Sadly, Gaza has become an unsafe place, with a staggering loss of life. The bloodshed has claimed the lives of 14,400 Israelis and 10,000 Palestinians, including over 4,000 children. Numerous Palestinians find themselves trapped amidst the crossfire, while hundreds of Israeli hostages remain in captivity.
Those left behind struggle to find means of evacuating to Egypt. It is an unimaginable situation. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is determined to obliterate Hamas, with soldiers poised to engage in urban combat within Gaza City. Despite calls for a ceasefire, Netanyahu refuses, leading to concerns that Israel plans to indefinitely occupy Gaza after the war. The objective is to continue targeting terrorists in the field, fighting and isolating them from the Hamas leadership. The Biden Administration supports Israel’s right to defend itself but calls for a temporary cessation of hostilities to allow humanitarian aid to enter and more people to escape.
