Orlando’s iconic restaurant, Beefy King, known for its mouthwatering hot sandwiches, especially its roast beef, has fallen victim to an Uber Eats scammer.

The restaurant’s third-generation owner, Shannon Woodrow, is concerned about the impact of such fraudulent activity on its community image.

Recently, an unscrupulous Uber Eats vendor called “Beefy King Orlando” has been selling food that is not on the restaurant’s menu, including pizza, pasta, and Italian cuisine during off-hours.

This has caused confusion among customers who know the restaurant’s menu by heart.

According to digital marketing expert Tom Jelnick, the internet is full of scammers, and it’s up to the customers to ensure they’re not being scammed.

He suggests that customers should verify with the restaurant first by making a phone call to avoid disappointment.

However, customers believe that Uber Eats should hold to a high standard and take responsibility for such fraudulent activity on its platform.

Woodrow has heard from Uber about the situation, and they are yet to connect.

She hopes that they can make things right soon.

In the meantime, the community is advised to be cautious while ordering food from third-party apps like Uber Eats to avoid falling prey to similar scams.
