Humane Society of Broward County, a shelter in Florida, is seeking a forever home for their furry friends.

One of their adoptable dogs is Bentley, a four-year-old American Bulldog-Pitbull mix who was given up by his family because they no longer had time for him.

Bentley is hearing-impaired but knows some hand signals, and is good with other dogs and people of all ages.

He is described as a big, mellow dog who enjoys car rides and feels secure in a crate.

Bentley has been at the shelter for over two months and is part of the Dolly’s Dream Dogs program, which underwrites his adoption fee and provides him with supplies to settle into his new home.

In addition to Bentley, the shelter also has Tom Thumb and Annie, a guinea pig and a rabbit who were found together in a park and are looking for a home where they can stay together.

The shelter is open every day at 11 o’clock and has several other underdogs who are being overlooked and need a permanent home.

Local 10 News is helping to spread the word about the animals available for adoption.
