The Humane Society of Broward County is hoping to find forever homes for pets in need.

The organization recently spoke with Local 10 News about their efforts.

One such pet is Riley, a 13-week-old puppy who weighs 21 pounds and is expected to grow to be a big dog.

Although he has a lot of energy, he would be a great fit for a family who enjoys activities.

The Humane Society of Broward County encourages potential pet owners to consider taking their pets to dog obedience classes.

While Riley is one of the more easily adoptable pets, the organization has many other adult dogs that are already trained and waiting for their forever homes.

The Humane Society of Broward County is committed to finding good homes for all of their pets.
