Downtown Hattiesburg is gearing up for an exciting event this weekend, but locals should be prepared for some road closures.

HubFest, which is expected to draw a large crowd, will result in the closure of multiple downtown streets.

According to city officials, Pine Street, Main Street, Walnut Street, Bushman Street, Front Street, and Batson Street will all be closed from 4 a.m to 9 p.m on Saturday.

Additionally, some vendors will be loading in on Friday at 7 p.m.

Drivers should also note that traffic will be reduced to one lane on West Pine Street between Main Street and Forest Street.

If you’re planning to attend HubFest, be sure to plan your route accordingly and arrive early to secure a parking spot.
