A man suspected of being involved in a homicide that occurred in Norfolk in April has been apprehended after a chase through three cities, according to Norfolk police.

The suspect, identified as Piers, worked as a cafeteria assistant at Independence Middle School and is currently on administrative leave.

He was arrested by police marshals and is believed to have connections to the death of 18-year-old Antonio Wilson, whose body was found on East Virginia Beach Boulevard on April 8th.

The pursuit spanned across Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Chesapeake before the suspect was finally caught.

The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to be released in the coming days.
