A husky got stuck on a steep hillside in the Hollywood Hills, but was successfully rescued by firefighters and reunited with its owner.

The rescue operation was launched after the dog fell down a hillside near a popular Griffith Park hiking trail.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the dog making an athletic jump and getting closer and closer to the top of the trail, with firefighters attempting to lower an object down the cliff.

The owner also made an appearance at the top of the cliff, attempting to coax the dog up the trail.

After holding onto the cliff for a while, the dog eventually made a final jump into the owner’s arms, ending the successful rescue mission.
