A hit-and-run driver is being sought after seriously injuring a flagger in Racine County on Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as Karlee Rybarczyk, who had just started her job as a flagger for WE Energies in February of 2023.

The driver of a white Chevy diesel pickup truck crashed into her and fled the scene.

New video footage of the truck has been released, showing it with front-end damage.

Rybarczyk suffered multiple injuries, including two broken legs, a broken arm, a broken rib, and cuts and bruises.

She is currently undergoing multiple surgeries and won’t be able to return to work anytime soon.

Her family is asking for help with her expensive medical bills through a GoFundMe page.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is urged to contact the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.
