Hiker from Los Angeles Missing in Joshua Tree National Park

A 25-year-old man from Los Angeles has been reported missing after embarking on a solo hiking trip in Joshua Tree National Park at the end of last month.

Travel Evans, an avid hiker, began his journey on April 30th, just south of Yucca Valley, and was expected to return on Friday.

However, when he failed to come back as planned, the park service initiated a search operation.

Evans was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and blue shorts.
