In high school football playoffs, two teams from Central Oregon competed yesterday under the Friday Night Lights. The undefeated IMC Champs, the Mountain View cougars, hosted the Hillsboro Spartans in a thrilling quarterfinal match.
The Spartans battled hard, but the cougars proved to be too strong, winning with a score of 41-20. In the next week, Mountain View will face Silverton on the road, with the opportunity to secure a spot in the state championship.
Meanwhile, across town, Summit faced off against the Lebanon Warriors. The storm secured a spot in the semifinals for the second consecutive year, with a dominant 49-4 victory.
They will now face the Wilsonville wildcats, the team they defeated last year for the State title..
