Joaquin Rosales, the midfielder, scored the final goal with a shot from 25 yards out that went into the upper corner of the goal.
The Pirates went into halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead and held on for the win.
The victory was especially sweet for the Pirates, who had to fight their way through some nail-biters to get to the final.
But in the end, they emerged as champions, much to the delight of their fans and the community.
“This is for the valley, this is for home, this is for everyone,” said one of the team members.
“It feels very good, it feels special, and that’s something that you can never feel like it’s weird.

It was a moment that was celebrated by fans and the community alike, who have been waiting for this moment for a long time.
At the end of the game, long-time Hidalgo head coach Zeke Morales expressed his pride in the team and the community.
