Currently, the police in AO are seeking assistance in apprehending the individual responsible for the murder of a local veteran outside a gas station. Thank you for joining us tonight at 5. I’m Deborah Show and I’m Anny Martinez. On this Veterans Day, the police department held a press conference urging people to come forward with any information.

Our Fox 35 correspondent, Stephanie Buffman, is live in the studio. Stephanie, the family is devastated and left with countless unanswered questions as they mourn the loss of their loved one.

His daughter described him as a kind man who always went out of his way to help others. The AO police state that United States Army veteran Gregory Reed was shot and killed at a BP gas station on Silver Star and Clark Road.

After being shot on Thursday night, Reed managed to drive a short distance to a nearby parking lot where he crashed his car. Authorities discovered him with multiple gunshot wounds and quickly rushed him to the hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

Reed resided in Apopka and had previously served in the US Army, having deployed to Korea. The police are actively searching for the driver of a silver Mercedes SUV that was captured by surveillance cameras leaving the scene.

Reed’s family is pleading for any witnesses to come forward. His daughter expressed disbelief that anyone would harm her father, describing him as a peaceful individual who never instigated conflicts. The incident has left the family perplexed as they struggle to comprehend the motives behind this tragedy. Once again, this is the vehicle believed to be involved in the murder.
