Parts of Southeast KELOLAND are currently experiencing dangerous driving conditions due to heavy snow and rain, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation (DOT) cameras.

As a result, no travel advisories have been issued in areas around Mitchell Salem, Canastota, and between Webster and Summit interstates and highways.

The roads are covered with snow and ice, and authorities are urging people to stay home if possible.

If you have to drive, make sure to slow down, wear your seatbelt, and give the plows plenty of room to do their job.

Despite the rough conditions, the heavy snow has created picturesque scenes across Eastern South Dakota.

However, gusts of wind are limiting visibility even indoors.
